We have a great honor to announce that on September 23, a significant event took place in Estonia – Estonian Cancer Society presented a new CT trailer in cooperation with AS Semetron, which is designed to offer high-tech medical services in smaller Estonian settlements. The trailer was built by Semetron in Estonia in cooperation with Toci OÜ.
The trailer houses Canon’s latest generation computed tomograph Aquilion Serve SP, which offers world-class diagnostic capabilities. This device is equipped with a silver filter that allows lung cancer to be screened with ultra low dose, protecting patients from unnecessary radiation while maintaining diagnostic accuracy and image quality. This is a major step forward towards early detection of lung cancer and, as a result, effective treatment.
In addition, the trailer has an integrated battery system, which makes it possible to use the CT even in small and hard-to-reach places. This means that the operation of the device does not always depend on an external power source, making it possible to provide a high-quality diagnostic service in areas where it is most needed. This technology is designed to bring modern healthcare services to people, regardless of their location.
